There is a large variety of hikes in Sweden. You find everything from endless forests to high mountain terrain along the border to Norway or beaches along the east coast. Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is a beautiful city with lots of parks, bays and lakes. Since the city is built on islands you find yourself surrounded by water almost anywhere you go. This also gives the perfect preconditions for activities. Imagine going by kayak passing by the townhouse or walking in the middle of the city passing by red little cottages where people still live.
